KORE MTB Carbon Wheelset Freehub Body – HG / XD / MS
KORE MTB Carbon Wheelset Freehub Body – HG / XD / MS
KORE MTB Carbon Wheelset Freehub Body
This KORE MTB freehub body is made for KORE carbon mountain bike wheelsets and is available in HG, XD and Micro Spline (MS) versions. It can be used to replace an existing freehub body during wheel maintenance or to adapt a compatible KORE MTB wheelset to a different cassette standard.
The Shimano HG option is suitable for compatible Shimano and SRAM cassettes that use the traditional HG spline. The SRAM XD option is designed for SRAM XD mountain bike cassettes, while the Micro Spline version is intended for compatible Shimano Micro Spline MTB cassettes. Selecting the correct interface is essential when changing cassettes or drivetrains.
This is a wheelset-specific replacement part. KORE road wheelsets and different hub generations may use other freehub designs, so compatibility should be confirmed before ordering. If you are replacing a damaged or worn component, compare your current freehub type and KORE MTB wheelset model with the available option.
Compatibility

Please select the freehub body that matches your cassette type.
Is the listed weight accurate?
Listed weights are measured without rim strips and have a tolerance of ±5%. The pre-installed rim strips add roughly 50g per pair.
Will these wheels fit my bike?
Check three things: your axle standard (e.g. 100×12mm front / 142×12mm rear thru-axle), your brake mount (Center-Lock disc), and your cassette type (HG, XDR or MS). Send us a photo of your bike on WhatsApp and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.
Can I run them tubeless?
Yes. Rim strips compatible with both tubeless tyres and standard inner tubes come pre-installed, so you can set them up either way.
Are import duties included?
For the USA and many European countries we ship DDP, meaning duties and import charges are paid in advance. You won't receive an extra bill on delivery.
